Trey Melazzo
Therapeutics Accelerator Program Manager
Trey Melazzo is the Program Manager at Station 41’s Therapeutics Accelerator and its shared IP protection policy and strategy with UAB. A native to Birmingham, he leverages his background in biomedical science and pharmacy to advance innovation and commercialization in bioscience. Trey holds a BS in Biomedical Science from Auburn University and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University. Throughout pharmacy school, he worked in the pharmacy at Children’s of Alabama and also earned a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from UAB. Following graduation, he completed an executive residency in association management at the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) in Washington, DC. Trey will also support the efforts of the Therapeutics Development Fund (TDF) and other aspects of Station 41.
