Joe Villalobos is a seasoned Laboratory Operations Manager with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as the Lab Manager at Station 41 Incubator, holds a microbiology degree from New Mexico State University (NMSU) and a project management certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI). His professional journey began at Focus Diagnostics Clinical Trials (now Q2 Solutions), where he played a crucial role in Phase III vaccine trials. During this tenure, Joe gained expertise in cGLP regulation, team building, process improvement and managing large-scale patient sample projects in various platforms. Among his notable accomplishments is successfully relocating a GLP laboratory over a distance of 50 miles. Additionally, he expedited testing for two startup CLIA labs during the COVID-19 period, achieving an impressive 24-hour turnaround time. Joe excels at tackling complex challenges and fostering collaborative relationships. His primary objective is to ensure that the residents of Station 41 receive exceptional support and have an outstanding experience that enables them to achieve their goals. With his extensive experience and expertise, Joe is spirited about making significant contributions to the innovative team at Station 41.
